Bringing a Crowd

TWEP loves to collaborate in creating exciting indoor and/or outdoor learning experiences for large or small groups of all ages! Past activities have included stream study, tree identification, skull identification, and recycling. Tuscarora School District teachers may bring groups free of charge; a nominal fee is requested from other educational and community groups. Activities can be tailored to introduce an array of topics or to address specific learning objectives.

Set your gps for 4881 Fort Loudon Road Mercersburg, PA; located on the campus of the James Buchanan High School.
Our office hours are Tuesdays 9:00 - 12:00 and Thursdays 1:00 - 3:00; you may call to reserve a time to visit on any day with a group as small as your family.

TWEP's Trails - Come out and explore trails around the center!
Not only may you play peak-a-poo with a possum or hide and seek with a rabbit, you may see educational projects around the trails! Anything from geocaching, hibernaculum, trap lines, beehives, and food plots! We ask that you be respectful of our projects and wildlife while walking the trails and keep your animals on a leash!
