              Plans are in place for 2022 TWEP Summer Camps 
    June 20 - 24 - Summer Camp - 6 - 8th graders - 9:00 - 12:00 - Camp is run by Brent Gift.         Students do a wide variety of age-appropriate activities while they learn about ecology, macro-             organisms, biology of many of the animals that inhabit the TWEP grounds, and relationships in the          natural world.    No minimum or max; $2/day; members = free

       June 20 - 24 - Nose to Nose Camp - kdg - 2nd graders - 1:00 - 3:00 - “Bee Special” -           Campers will learn about plants and how they grow. They will also learn about plants in the food           chain and the importance of pollen collectors like the honey bee. Activities will     connect the               content covered each day.  Minimum = 6 students, maximum =12 students;                                                                                                               Cost = $20/child; members = free; YOU MUST CALL THE CENTER OR EMAIL TO                                                                                                 RESERVE A SPACE for this camp - 717 328-2126 or twepmail@gmail.com

June 27 - July 1 - Summer Camp - 3rd - 5th graders - 9:00 - 12:00 - Camp is run by Brent Gift. Registration forms posted below. You may download from here and then send to school, attention TWEP. You could also drop off at the Center or mail to TWEP, PO Box 97, Mercersburg. 
Forms for the 3 -5 and 6 -8 camps will also be available in the district elementary schools.

June 7 - TWEP Adventure - 1st - 3rd - 9:30 - 11:00 - “Let’s Go Buggy” - The group will take supervised discovery hikes and do insect collecting. Children will learn to look for characteristics to identify the insects. Focus will be on the life cycle of different insects and activities will be related to the content.
Minimum = 6 students, maximum =15 students; Cost = $5/student; members = free; You must call or email to reserve a spot.


June 14 - TWEP Adventure - 3rd - 5th grade - 9:30 - 11:00 - “Into the Forest” - The group will take guided discovery hikes and learn about some of the plants and animals of the forest. The children will do activities to build a better understanding of the interrelationships that exist in this ecosystem.
                                                        Minimum = 6 students, maximum =15 students;  Cost = $5/student; members = free; You must call or email to reserve a spot. 


Registration forms will emailed to you. You must call to register to be on the list to receive the registration forms.
